Grass Clipping Reminder
Residents are reminded to dispose of their grass clippings on their own property, or take them to the local landfill. The clippings are not to be discarded on Summer Village Property. Recently, ditches along Vine Avenue have been used to dispose of grass clippings. This is strictly prohibited. The Pigeon Lake Watershed Association recommends mulching clippings and leaving them on your lawn. The board of directors of the Sundance Beach Easement Holders Association (EHA) is trying to develop a more detailed list of guidelines to be followed in connection with development of the lakeshore lands located within the Summer Village. The lakeshore lands includes the “easement lands” owned by the EHA and the “PUL" (Public Utility) lands owned by the Summer Village. Planning Meeting & Survey
An open house to review and provide comments on the draft Municipal Development Plan will be held on August 17, 2019 from 10 a.m.—12 p.m. at the John Turgeon Community Hall.
