 Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) is considering a proposed disturbance standard under the Public Lands Administration Regulation. A disturbance standard is a flexible tool that can allow an activity to occur on public land, subject to certain requirements. This disturbance standard would create a general permission for users to place and use a temporary seasonal dock, boat lift and associated mooring structures on the Crown-owned bed and shore without obtaining individual authorization.  Monday, October 26 will be the last week for weekly garbage collection. We then move into our winter collection that happens every two weeks, starting on Monday, November 9. Here is a link to the garbage collection schedule. Note that our Summer Village is N (for North side of the lake)

 As we enter the "off-season" in our lakeside community, it's time to take another look at how to protect your property.  Thanks to community volunteers, the landscaping has been completed at the entrance sign to our Summer Village. A team of eight people donated their time, energy, expertise and many resources to get the job done.
