July 12th, 2025 at the John Turgeon Hall from 10 am to 8 pm
Important Information for Candidates
Notice of Intent to Run
Candidates intending to run must notify the Summer Village of Sundance Beach via email at info@sundancebeach with the following details (note: there is no additional form required, simply provide the following information):
- Name, address, and contact information (phone and email).
- Records address (the address of the place where records of the individual are maintained and of the place to which communications will be addressed).
- Name and address of the financial institution for your campaign.
- Names of signing authorities.
Once confirmed by the SV of Sundance Beach the name of the candidate will be included on the Register of Candidates and posted publicly in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.
Candidates can begin accepting campaign contributions and incurring expenses ONLY AFTER the Notice of Intent is completed.
Note: the Notice of Intent is a new requirement under the legislation and differs from the nomination process.

Register of Candidates
The Summer Village is required to maintain a register of candidates who have given notice to run. The register will be publicly available on this website until Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
