Effective Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., the Summer Village of Sundance Beach declares a TOTAL FIRE BAN within the entire Summer Village of Sundance Beach boundaries.  This ban includes any open fires, including: camp and recreational fires, and fireworks.

The ban will remain in effect until such time as conditions and restrictions warrant.

Off-Highway Vehicles can start wildfires – check frequently to ensure hotspots are free of debris, and make sure mufflers and spark arrestors are working properly.

Exception: This ban does not apply to gas fuelled equipment such as propane BBQs which contains the flame within.
